The criminal returns to the scene of the crime

An Abu Ghraib offender heads back to Iraq. One could call this insane. Sadly, it's only logical. To do the dirty business of war (yes, there's a war in Iraq, and the US government is involved in it, no matter what President Bush says), you need people willing to use the dirty methods necessary.

Yankee, go home!

President Bush says he is "spreading freedom and democracy around the world".

Riiight! So why is Iraq in a mess? Why is Afghanistan falling apart?

Simple. When you involve yourself in the problems of other countries, their problems become your problems - and it usually makes the problems worse.

Saddam Hussein wasn't exactly Mr. Nice Guy, but Iraq is a worse country today than it was under his rule.

Call the troops home, Mr. President!
